One day while the rest of the kiddos were at school and Lois was taking a nap, Annie and I went on a misty walk just the two of us. I got to capture some fun moments of her just being silly and exploring. It is funny to me that she is being such a little lady in these pictures and holding up her dress so it doesn’t get wet. That is so usually not the case with her. She is usually so messy. And I love that. It is so important to me that my kids spend so much time in nature- getting down in the dirt. We are blessed to live in a place where there is nature for them to explore right outside our front door. I love when my kids get muddy and splash in puddles and come inside with dirt under their fingernails. To me that means they had a good day.
