Fall is such a great time to use leaves as a craft supply. And the best part is going on a walk to collect them.

One leaf craft we made last year was leaf bugs. Basically you just glue or staple leaves to a piece of paper and that is the bug body. Then you draw bug legs, antennas, and any other bug feature you want to around the leaf.

We also made lion manes out of leaves. Draw a lion face in the center of a piece of paper, then glue or staple leaves all around it to make a lion’s mane.

And then of course, just making a leaf collage is fun. Just glue them all on a piece of paper. Voila. Art.
